    Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) is an organization gathering 57 countries, aims to speak with a single voice for the protection of its citizens and guarantee progress and Muslims around the world in general.
A large number of these countries are well-known to us such as Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), Morocco and Iran, but there are a number of other countries that either we have not heard about before, or we have heard the name of them but without knowing any details.


Albania

    It is one of Balkan region’s countries, it’s located in South-Eastern Europe, which is just 72 kilometres from Italy.
Albania is a member of organizations of the United Nations, NATO and the Council of Europe, the World Trade Organization and the Organization of the Islamic Conference member. 
Albania is also seeking to join the European Union.
Its political system is a parliamentary democratic system, and its economy is suffering from what’s called "transitional phase", its capital, Tirana, and has a population of about 3 million people, the majority of Albanians ethnic with minority have a Greek roots.
The country is open to foreign investment, especially in the fields of energy and transport infrastructure development investment, although it is one of the European country's poor but there is a clear potential for economic growth good.
Of Albania in 1478 it became part of the Ottoman Empire, where the majority of the population converted to the Islamic religion. Albania got its independence in 1912 as a result of the London Conference, and the culmination of what is known Albanian uprising between 1908 and 1910.

Maldives

         It has a population of 400 thousand people on the land of 298 thousands square kilometres.

The Constitution provides in Article No. 9 on the inadmissibility of giving the nationality and citizenship to anyone who is not a Muslim, as Article 10 provides for the non-application of any law violates the principles of Islam.
Maldives has a geographic exquisite especially with the presence of an archipelago of small islands in 1190, which consists of the island of the archipelago and does not represent only 1% of the total area of ​​the country. Tourism accounts for 28% of Gross domestic product (GDP) and 60% of the total foreign currency income, especially with the presence of 89 tourist resort in the country.
In 2004, tsunami was followed by a strong earthquake in the Indian Ocean hit islands; causing the destruction of these islands in many ways, from 185 island populated not escaped only 9 Islands from the tsunami while faced 57 Island serious damage to its infrastructure as well as 6 Islands were completely destroyed.
Political system in Maldives is a presidential system in which the President of the Republic is the head of minister’s council and he appoints ministers, and the Constitution prevents non-Muslims from voting.
